Vet visit
The boys got their Spring vacs and Coggins pulled yesterday. Also had Meins' sheath cleaned, he's such a dirty boy! Paha, he said lookes to be about 25 lbs underweight but overall they both look great, healthy and happy. He said it could very well just be Spring and he is running around more. I was worried he was maybe 75 to 100 lbs underweight. Took fecal samples just to be sure. They will get the WNV in 3 weeks and then we are good till Fall, well, Paha will get his sheath cleaned then, if needed, and float his teeth. THEN, we are good til Spring.
The farrier will be here next week and then everyone is taken care of til I get back from Idaho.
So have a wonderfull day today, the boys are already on their "siesta" enjoying the sunshine!

And the winner is................
ALDO!
I know, I know, thought it would have been one of the horses but surprisingly neither of them rolled after I cleaned them up. But Aldo, my clumsy, goofy Doberman decided to bark at the neighbor's dogs and just HAD to run through the wet ,black muck. The look of innocence. Oh well, I guess that's what mops, buckets and rags are for..................

Cleaning up, straightning up, smoothing out..........
Moved the round pen panels out so the boys can get some grazing in. There is just no grass and the back is still really wet. I closed off one pasture in the hopes the grass will grow. I was so hoping to use less hay for the Summer but I'll be using more instead. Sigh!
They are looking so skinney now that they are "defuzzing" and tomorrow if it gets as warm as they say they are getting the full spa treatment! Get those clippers ready! Shampoo-check! Combs-check! Towels, sponges-check, check! And the first one to roll afterward is.................you'll have to check back tomorrow evening!

Happy Easter friends and family!
Spent most of the morning hanging with my horses then the kids came early afternoon. It was really nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy being with the things I love the most, my family and my critters!
My daughter and I talked a lot about our trip to Moscow, Idaho! We are so excited and our countdown is now 60 days! Whoo hoo!
