The boys got their Spring vacs and Coggins pulled yesterday. Also had Meins' sheath cleaned, he's such a dirty boy! Paha, he said lookes to be about 25 lbs underweight but overall they both look great, healthy and happy. He said it could very well just be Spring and he is running around more. I was worried he was maybe 75 to 100 lbs underweight. Took fecal samples just to be sure. They will get the WNV in 3 weeks and then we are good till Fall, well, Paha will get his sheath cleaned then, if needed, and float his teeth. THEN, we are good til Spring.
The farrier will be here next week and then everyone is taken care of til I get back from Idaho.
So have a wonderfull day today, the boys are already on their "siesta" enjoying the sunshine!
Good to read they are doing great. Starts to feel like winter is actually over when the horses get their vet visits completed, eh?

You bet! And this is the first year since I have had them home (4 yrs now) that we made it through the winter and Spring mud with out being "rescued" and having them moved to another farm!
