Never again will we utter the nicknames, Anna Banana, Peepee pop n squat or peeps. Our beautiful red Doberman Anna is off to run and chase deer and squirrels with her brother Toby, and meet up with the rest of the gang, Bravo, Aries and those before them. It was not an easy decision to make and kind of knew a few days ago she must have been in a great deal of discomfort. She was barely eating and stayed in my bed, on my pillow, but would insist on being with me when I went out to feed the horses. No more of her silly excited cries when ever one of us came home from somewhere, especially for my husband when he was gone on business all week. I miss her terribly but I have nearly 9 yrs of wonderful memories from a dog who gave her all.
Goodbye to our sweet treasure................
So sorry to hear about Anna. It hurts when they go...at least you had the comfort of her unconditional love and the knowledge that she had a wonderful home and family.
ReplyDeleteSo Sorry, it is so hard to lose them.
ReplyDeleteWe lost two last year, one to old age and one to cancer. Taking them in to be put down is so hard.
Thank you, my other two dogs, cat and my horses are keeping me busy. I just miss her presence, she was with me ALL the time and missing 105 lbs of dog is VERY noticeable.
